Deputy Executive Director

The Deputy Executive Director is a new role at YGB and is intended to serve as second in command to support the Executive Director’s (ED) efforts to deepen the organization’s impact. This position is multifold and includes, but is not limited to: overseeing the aforementioned programs; supervising five direct reports; evaluating programs; managing licenses and adherence to governmental and agency contracts; managing board engagement; assisting with managing development and donor engagement; reporting on outcomes to internal and external stakeholders; supporting the ED in implementing and tracking progress of the strategic plan; as well as managing the organization’s operations.


Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the Therapist is responsible for providing adoption competent clinical services to YGB families to facilitate attachment and bonding, decrease family conflict, and decrease risk of disruption.


Reporting to the Executive Director, the Sr. Director of Family Permanency Services will have administrative responsibility for execution of business aspects of You Gotta Believe’s strategic plan as it relates to program matters. Must have or quickly develop deep knowledge of field, core programs, operations, and business plans.


We are looking for a conscientious data entry specialist who can sort through large quantities of paper records
to gather client contact information- stored at the You Gotta Believe’s office in Coney Island, Brooklyn –
and transfer the data into an electronic database. To ensure the success of this project, you should have a
proficient understanding of the importance of accurate filling and maintaining an accurate record-keeping
