It’s Never Too Late to Support YGB!
Help ensure every kid in foster care is connected to a loving, permanent family.
- Kicking off with an electrifying performance by the entire ensemble, the stage brimmed with energy, authenticity and emotion throughout the evening.
- Several YGB families took center stage, sharing their personal journeys of becoming permanent families and illuminating the transformative power of finding a forever home for foster youth. Truly, there wasn't a dry eye in the house.
- Highlighting the evening were touching moments such as Cody Saintgnue's poignant narrative of his journey through foster care to adoption, complemented by Javier Colon's soul-stirring rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."’
- Bellamy Young's heartfelt account of her own experiences as a foster child was met with a surprise appearance by the original "Annie" herself, Andrea McArdle, who serenaded Bellamy with the timeless classic "Maybe," creating an unforgettable moment of connection.
- Sharon Catherine Brown moved hearts with a touching tribute to her son Elijah, followed by a powerhouse performance that earned her a standing ovation, her resounding voice filling the auditorium with raw emotion. (Cue more collective tears)
- And let's not forget Griffin Matthews and Matt Gould, who shared their beautiful journey of adopting their two children, accompanied by Gould's stirring musical portrayal of their experience.
SiriusXM’s Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley
Hosts
SiriusXM host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, Producers James Wesley, served as our Voices hosts for the evening. Together with YGB, Seth and James created Voices in 2015, and the 2023 show represented our Ninth Edition!
Since then, as partners, we have raised over $3.8 million to help find loving families for older youth in foster care. We cannot wait for the next one!
