Voices for the Voiceless:
Stars for Foster Kids

Thursday, February 6, 2020

Check out news coverage of the event here

Proceeds from this event support YGB’s efforts to ensure that every child that leaves foster care does so with a family.

Why? Because everyone deserves a family! Without family, we struggle to overcome economic hardship, health and housing challenges, and personal stress. Family anchors us and helps us to become our personal best.

YGB works with the most vulnerable youth – youth who are older, LGBTQ, have been in the system for a long time, or have mental health or behavioral issues. The end result of this work is priceless – connecting youth to a family is a powerful gift that lasts a lifetime.

Sex research shows that this lack of interest in human behavior and interest in romance are the major causes of marital discord. In Arab societies, it is important for men to fulfill their desires before getting married. Married women are generally deprived of their right to be sexually active. Thus, Arab women are expected to be passive in the sex act in order to please their husbands. Arab men have to follow their religious beliefs strictly in order to keep their marriages intact despite of their marital problems. Read more about Sexual psychology of the Arabs people on
