YBG runners go the miles to help find families
for kids in foster care.

You Gotta Believe is proud to be a charity partner of the 2024 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon

Run 13.1 miles with Team You Gotta Believe on Sunday, March 17, 2024, and help us connect foster youth to loving, permanent families.

Every mile you run will have more meaning because of your commitment to raising money to connect foster youth to the loving permanent families they need and deserve!

Runners of all levels are invited to fundraise with our team and race the streets of Brooklyn and Manhattan with athletes from around the world. Team You Gotta Believe has a fundraising goal of $12,500 to connect foster youth to the loving permanent families they need and deserve.

Each runner must commit to raising a minimum of $2,500 to join the team.

“My wife and I are adopting an older child through You Gotta Believe! They do incredible work to connect kids at risk of aging out of foster care with permanent family. We have taken 30 hours of classes, completed mounds of paperwork and a homestudy, and have begun the process of matching with a child who need permanent, loving parents. That’s why I’m thrilled to run for YGB on November 5., Please join me on the road to 26.2 by making a donation – any amount will make a difference.”

“I am running the 2023 NYC marathon for two reasons. Most importantly, I want to give back to a well deserving cause. I also am running to remind myself that saying you want to accomplish a goal is not enough. You need to get out there and do it! We are only on this planet for so long. Putting action behind intention will enrich your life.”

“Family (and education) are pillars of my identity and the roots which help me grow and stretch towards my goals. Every child, no matter the age, deserves a foundation and the love / support to build their identities, creativities and careers that align with their dreams and goals as individuals. I run to give those children a chance”
