Renee has worked in the Human Services field for over three decades. With an educational background in Human Services & Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Renee has worked in every aspect of human services, including family and community services, mental health services, and residential placements for youth. When Renee began working with youth in residential care, her passion grew, and she became known for her strong voice in advocating for those youth. Renee has a genuine and honest approach to working with foster youth, helping them work through their trauma, learning the importance of human connection, and finding forever families. In addition, she uses her thirty years of experience to empower youth and families and to educate fellow human service professionals. Renee recently published a video called Human Connection, which discusses the importance of human connection in the foster care system.
