Michelle advocates for older youth in the foster care system so they don’t age out without an unconditional, loving family. Michelle brings her lived experience to her role. After spending time in foster care, she was reunited with her family and they are a constant support system to her now. Michelle says,

“I truly believe every child needs life skills, but more importantly, they need a safety net to fall back on. My goal as an advocate is to fight until having a forever family/support network is seen as a birthright!”
