Kaeyla prides herself on being of service, this is evident by her choice of medicine for a first career and after 20 years leaving to return to school for a career change to human services. Kaeyla initially came to You Gotta Believe for MAPP(parent training) to foster her nephew and it wasn’t long after that she met her daughter through You Gotta Believe. Kaeyla didn’t want to stop there so she made a conscious decision to learn more about how she could do more with the agency and in her final year at SUNY Empire State College she applied to work for the agency. The work that Kaeyla does with the children on her caseload brings her the ultimate joy. She holds the children and the agency in a special place in her heart and will continue to work tirelessly to see that as many children as possible find their forever homes before aging out of care. Kaeyla says,

“I know what it’s like to build a family from love as some of my siblings were adopted as well.”
