Amy Milstein is a NYC based photographer who divides her time between documentary photography and portraiture. She began her journey with photography when she learned to develop film while studying English and German literature at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. After college she moved to New York to attend graduate school at NYU, but left to pursue photography full time. She took a break from working when she had her two children, who were unschooled and self-directed learners until college.

Amy currently lives in Manhattan with her husband of 30 years, and when she’s not shooting an event or working with clients in her studio, she’s usually out making pictures for fun, reading, hanging out with her family or planning her next travel adventure.
