YGB'S CORE SERVICES INCLUDE
YGB finds parents for foster youth preferably a family relation or someone they already know (family members, neighbors, teachers, social workers), or someone new if need be.
YGB works with youth to address trauma and fear from years of abuse, neglect, and abandonment to ready them for adoption.
YGB emphasizes learning how to parent children from foster care with histories of trauma and the importance of making an unconditional commitment to prevent further trauma/abandonment.
YGB provides pre and post adoption support services to ensure enduring relationships between family members – we support our families as long as they need us.
YGB provides certifying and licensing services to parents to help them welcome youth into their homes.
