Originally from England, Sophie Mason has spent the past decade in the United States. With experience as a case planner, education specialist, and currently as a school social worker, she brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing vulnerable young people, and their families. Her commitment to foster care extends beyond her professional life, as together with her wife, they adopted two incredible children into their family five years ago. As a YGB therapist, she is able to provide trauma-informed care to families navigating the complexities of the foster care system—an area where her personal experience and professional insight intersect.
