Rachel Hood was a You Gotta Believe parent years before joining the team in 2021. Rachel, and her wife, Sharon, adopted their son at 17. The couple happened upon You Gotta Believe training classes, somewhat by accident, and became educated about the importance of permanent families for older children in foster care. They then added to their family with the birth of their daughter, now 4. Rachel is a creative social worker who built a career in helping people achieve financial literacy. She remained connected with You Gotta Believe over the years and jumped at the opportunity to join the agency. Rachel says
