Maria Llerena, CFA, Managing Director, at Neuberger Berman. Maria joined the firm in 1997 and is a Portfolio Manager and a Senior Research Analyst on the Global Equity team covering Health Care, Consumer Staples, and certain sub-sectors within Industrials. Prior to joining the Global Equity team, Maria worked in the Research Department as a member of the Healthcare team. Previously, she spent three years as a manager at ExecuTrain, a start-up provider of corporate training solutions. Maria earned a BBS from the University of Limerick, College of Business where she majored in Accounting & Finance. She has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Maria believes that everyone needs the safety net of family regardless of age.
