Emilio first got involved with You Gotta Believe when researching causes to support as he ran the NYC marathon. Emilio instantly felt connected to the work YGB is doing as he spent 3 years of childhood in foster care. While he was fortunate enough to be reconnected with his biological number, he’ll never forget the impact the time in foster care had on him. He’s compelled to support a cause that helps youth live to their fullest potential and sets them up for success in ways the system often can’t. Emilio is proud to have completed the marathon in 2023, running and raising awareness for YGB, and is excited to take on 2024 and beyond.

Professionally, Emilio is passionate about advocating for employees and currently leads the enterprise survey programming for a large organization in the outdoor adventure industry. Emilio currently resides in Los Angeles with his fiancée, Elan, and his rescue pup, Disco.
