Sarah Slater is YGB’s Home Finding Coordinator, leading coordination for the NTDC program, supporting the matching of prospective parents with youth, and hosting introductory calls for families interested in learning more. Through these responsibilities and her broader work with families, she guides prospective parents as they explore the path toward providing lasting connections for young people.

A leader and innovator, Sarah brings experience in foster care services, education, program coordination, and operations. Previously, as an Educational Specialist, she supported young people in foster care as they pursued higher education, helping them access resources and navigate college opportunities.

Sarah’s commitment to helping young people feel supported, valued, and connected draws her to YGB. She believes every young person deserves lasting relationships and opportunities to pursue their goals.

Sarah holds an MBA with a concentration in Innovation and bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Public Relations. She combines creative thinking with strong organizational skills, bringing warmth, initiative, and a thoughtful approach to building relationships, improving processes, and turning ideas into action.
