For 30 years, You Gotta Believe has been the only New York City–based, national non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to finding permanent families for young adults, teens, and pre-teens in foster care.
Our mission is simple and unwavering: no young person should age out of foster care without the security, stability, and belonging that only a permanent family can provide.
This year, we’ve set an ambitious goal to raise $300,000 to strengthen our work and connect more young people with the families they deserve. Together, we can ensure every child has the chance to experience unconditional love and lifelong support.

- Recruiting, training, and supporting parents ready to adopt or permanently care for older youth.
- Providing intensive family-finding services for young people most at risk of aging out.
- Delivering post-placement coaching and deliver post placement support.

In honor of YGB’s 30th Anniversary — and in tribute to three decades of impact — we are launching a bold campaign to fortify our mission and redouble our efforts so that no young person ever ages out of foster care without the love, safety, and permanence of family.
